SmartShopper is designed to make your online shopping experience simpler and easier. By partnering with Amazon.com we are able to offer you a large breadth of product at reasonable prices. All sales transactions are actually handled by Amazon themselves, meaning that you are dealing with one of the leaders in online shopping.
At the most basic level, the shopping assistant is a client interface to interact with Amazon.com. Amazon makes most of their product data available through web services. The interface is designed to be easy to use, and avoid a lot of the clutter that you may find over the web.
Aside from making it easier to interact with the products directly, SmartShopper really optimizes your shopping experience by allowing you to save profiles for friends and family. That will make it easier for you to shop for those who you care for.
The shopping assistant is absolutely free. In fact, our goal is to get as many people to use it as possible. (If you are an Amazon associate, and would like a version of this program associated with your associate id, contact us).
In order for Shopping Assistant to work, you need the Microsoft .Net framework installed on your machine. This is freely available from Microsoft, and if you do not have it installed already, the setup utility will help guide you through it.
